Former Sheriff Aaron Rovenstine created the Civil Process Division in 2002 to alleviate paper service requirement of the road deputies. The Civil Process division consist of part-time employees that are sworn Special Deputies by the Sheriff. Members work at various days and times, and serve some of the over 16,000 legal court documents as required by Indiana Law pertaining to Sheriff Departments' obligations. |
